The banana Cerise and Ebony casket are made from banana cord woven around a natural cane framework. Banana cord is made using the dried woven leaves of the banana, an annual plant, after the tree has produced its fruit and died back each year. Woven bands of banana, pandanus and rattan dyed red/ black to create a striking appearance. They are Fair Trade accredited and 100% biodegradable
